I know of atleast two other forums that have a map or locator on the website.
It is a cool idea, it gives the option of meeting people in person if your traveling, or gonna be in someone else's area you can drop in and see other's set up and shops.

Hey shadow, don't forget Canton, Oh and all points in between.

Ok, this map is addicting. The feature of the little man going down to street level is really cool and a little creepy at the same time. Go to my spot, Edison, Ohio and drop down on Rt 95. There's the carry-out where I get my coffee and newspaper sometimes, down the street toward Mt Gilead is HPM where I used to work. Finally go to the square of Mt. Gilead and see our big, stupid marble weiner right in the middle of the street. We "won" that back in the 40's for most war bonds sold per capita. I'm all for supporting our troops, I just wish they would move it out of the road.
You can't see my house, I'm on a side road out in the boonies.

OMG you're right! There is a closeup of my house, you can even see my junky looking wood pile in front of the garage! How do they do that? I've heard that Google pays people to drive around and take pictures along the roads.

LOL, Transformers 3 was playing at the theater.
Too bad it doesn't show Christmas lights I just put up!

yeah, that whole thing just creeps me the hell out.. what if i dont want someone taking pictures of me whle im working in my yard, or driving along, or even my house..i didnt ask for my residence to be put up on the net for the whole world to see..

thankfully, it isnt.. but taking pice of my driveway is bad enough..
