    Hi Cxevalo & Everyone else.
I would like to make 2 machines that is cnc related.
If there is anyone that can help me I can pay them a bit of money

First it is cnc milling like this one that was posted here.
These folks are already selling kits but I think it is a bit too much
blackToe 4'x8' routing area Version 2.1 CNC Machine Kit: $2975
    http://buildyourcnc.com/blackToe4x8.aspx

Then I would like to make a machine like this
    http://www.sonitools.com/
This a machine formaking cuts on rings
I havent seen anything like this in this forum

Anyway here are the links I found on cnc milling
    http://www.instructables.com/id/CNC/

    Thanks Refiner232121.

The sonitools machine is very specialized and probably expensive beyond the backward budget.

    Refiner,

I am also looking at building something like the build your CNC router. I've watched his development for 18 months now. I'm looking at either cast Al or concrete filled welded steel tube construction. The linear bearings that I'm looking at are the roller cam followers out of domestic cars like the Chrysler products. They will run on cold rolled mild steel key stock ways. The electronics aren't my strong point. Same with the soft ware. I like the gantry mill approach. I have some ideas about how I want it put together. Really for the price what you get with the ready made router is extremely cheap. I'm going more for a mill than router.

    Hi Pie
Maybe we can help each other
This is a very uselfull machine used for many different industries.
If electronics and software is not your strong point that should not deter you.
There are ways to find help.
One thing I am sure about is that I dont want a weak machine that will take forever to mill
    Its gotta be fast.
On this site there are plans
    http://www.instructables.com/id/CNC/

If you are intrested we can start this project at the same time

From what is written in that site most parts can be bought from local retailers

But then again I would really like to have a machine like this one
blackToe 4'x8' routing area Version 2.1 CNC Machine Kit: $2975
    http://buildyourcnc.com/blackToe4x8.aspx

He is not selling the plans so we have to find the plans and the list of parts

So let us start searching fo the plans this type of a machine
