Curious if anyone has ever used one of these machines. I imagine, with a little modification to a cheap brush, some experimenting with conductive liquids and standard welder might give the same cleaning action.

"TIG Brush Stainless Steel Weld Cleaning System creates a unique combination of electricity, heat and chemistry to deliver superior results in weld cleaning and metal surface finishing. Its proprietary, conductive brush applies cleaning fluid to the work surface, producing an electro-chemical cleaning action with astoundingly fast and effective results"

Looks to be an electo-chemical etching power supply with different chemicals to "clean" (remove oxides) rather than discolor (oxidize) the base material.
    What is that squeaking noise?

Hmm... new one on me. I have a love/hate relationship with stainless.
