    Core Problems

I'm curious what is the best method of making cores. I've been using Bondo's fiberglass resin mixed into sand. It does an ok job, but tends to burnup leaving an inaccurate core cast. What have you had luck with?

I'd rather have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

most people on here use sodium silicate and sand, then gas it with CO2 to harden it. Ive also seen a good video on one with sodium silicate and he put it in a toaster oven to harden it pretty quickly, which Im seriously considering doing over the CO2 method. Here's some videos.
