    I use mold release most of the time. But to keep stuff from sticking to PoP, booty butter is your friend. I use it straight from the jar.

    To keep wax from sticking to plaster, I soak the plaster in water for ten minutes.

    To keep silicone or polyurethane rubbers from sticking to oil based clay, I use the manufacturers' recommended mold release.

    To keep wax from sticking to polyurethane rubber molds, I use silicone spray lubricant.

    To keep plaster from sticking to polyurethane rubber molds (when making plaster casts) I use castor oil thinned with something (alcohol probably).

    To keep plaster from sticking to polyurethane rubber molds (when making mother molds) I brush on a thick coat of Vaseline.
