    HT1 Pouring

    https://youtu.be/I4llyO7fs7U

I filmed myself pouring today, nothing spectacular, the second mold was not closed properly and ran out no big deal...
But I swear I did not set it up, it was just the radio in that background.. wait til I turn off the furnace :-)

That's what it's all about! My favorite part of the process; hearing the roar of the furnace and pouring molten metal with your own two hands. You've mentioned having trouble with tank cooling even with the tub of water. Your tub doesn't look very big and maybe doesn't have enough thermal mass for the job.
People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.

obviously I have never seen myself pour before... that odd slide step I watched the video over and over looking at that???

My wife asked why I throw my gloves off. we where taught that in the Navy you never pour with gloves on you cannot feel what you are doing, and the gauntlets act like a funnel for the hot stuff
