Knocked out a few more. There is another one not pictured.

And finished a few sets of windshield brackets. These are very time consuming.

Dumb question for you, where do the wind shield brackets go?

I made a new pattern the other day and it turned out that my flasks were too large or too small. So, I cranked out 3 new ones.
Made with the 3/1 cedar from Lowes, finished 3 sides and rough cut on the other. The rough surface gives good gripping action on the sand. Cope is 3 1/2", drag 2 1/2".
Alignment pins made from 3/8" rod, 4" long, should have been 3 1/2" because my spring clamps are maxed out trying to clamp them but I'll leave them as is.
All that is left to do is color code them so as not to mix them up.

    Broke in the flasks today.
    Two fails, two successes.
This is only 3/16", tried to use a tiny sprue, fail. Went to a larger sprue and hotter metal, yea!

I bet if you cast those house numbers out of bronze, you could fetch a pretty penny for them..... ;-)
    Nice stuff!

    Thanks Pete.

Jag, they sell every day for 40 to 50 bucks, even Walmart has them listed. Wonder who's got the contract.

    The latest pattern.

I've got an antenna hole on the deck of one of my tinney's. I thought I would rig it up as a water canon.

I haven't cast this yet so my thinking on gating is feed through the barrel and a large open riser on the base to feed for shrink. Sound right?
